Spend a relaxing day with us exploring the serene beauty of Uji and the iconic Fushimi Inari! We will start at Fushimi Inari Shrine, where you can wander through the famous endless rows of bright red torii gates that create a magical pathway through the forest.
Then, we will head to Uji City, renowned for its rich tea culture. Here, you will experience a tea-making at one of the best tea houses in the city. Learn the art of crafting matcha and enjoy a freshly made cup of this exquisite green tea right from the source.
After tea, we’ll explore Byodoin Temple, a stunning UNESCO World Heritage site. The temple’s elegant Phoenix Hall, beautifully mirrored in the surrounding pond, offers a picturesque view that truly captures the essence of Uji’s tranquility.
Finally, we’ll visit Kosho-ji Temple, a quiet retreat nestled among the hills. This serene sanctuary is a wonderful place to reflect and appreciate the peaceful surroundings.
