- Prologue: The Dawn of a New Era from the Land of Kyushu
Long ago, in the fertile lands of Kyushu, people began cultivating rice, and villages started to emerge.
Among them was a young leader named Iwarehiko. Later known as Emperor Jimmu, he harbored a dream:
*"Let us unite our strength and build a new era in this land."*
Iwarehiko’s gaze was set toward the east, to Yamato (modern-day Nara).
At the same time, in another part of Kyushu, there was a woman revered as a shaman. Her name was Himiko. She was a great leader who communicated with the gods through her spiritual powers and brought order to a land plagued by constant conflict.

Before embarking on his journey east, Iwarehiko heard rumors about Himiko.
*"She communes with the gods and possesses the power to foresee the future,"* people said. Seeking her guidance, Iwarehiko decided to visit Himiko.
In a mist-shrouded mountain village, Himiko, radiating an aura of sanctity, sat waiting.
*"Iwarehiko, your journey will be filled with trials, but the gods will guide your way,"* she proclaimed, handing him a bronze mirror.
*"This mirror symbolizes divine protection. When faced with difficulties, raise it high."*

- Chapter 2: The Battle with Nagasunehiko and the Trial of Divine Power
On his way to Yamato, Iwarehiko encountered a powerful local ruler, Nagasunehiko.
Using clever strategies, Nagasunehiko posed a significant challenge. However, Iwarehiko raised the bronze mirror gifted by Himiko, invoking the gods' blessing and turning the tide of the battle.
In the end, Nagasunehiko was moved by Iwarehiko's vision of building a united nation and surrendered. Through reconciliation, Iwarehiko laid the foundation for a new kingdom in Yamato. This victory, guided by the gods and Himiko's spiritual power, became a cornerstone of Japan's future.

- Chapter 3: Himiko’s Mission and Iwarehiko’s Dream
Having secured victory, Iwarehiko resolved to establish a new nation in Yamato. However, he never forgot Himiko's presence. He sent messengers back to Kyushu, the land she ruled.
When the messengers returned, they carried Himiko’s words:
*"Iwarehiko, the nation you build will thrive with the strength of its people and the gods’ protection. My mission is nearing its end, but your nation will endure for generations."*
Soon after, it is said that Himiko passed away. Yet, her influence lived on in the nation Iwarehiko built, forming the foundation of Japan through its bond with the gods.

- Epilogue: The Gateway to a New Era
Iwarehiko ascended to the throne in Yamato (modern-day Kashihara Shrine in Nara Prefecture) as the first Great King, later known as Emperor Jimmu. His rule was deeply rooted in the teachings and spiritual guidance of Himiko.
In time, Iwarehiko’s descendants began constructing massive burial mounds, symbolizing a larger scale of governance. These mounds, infused with prayers to the gods, marked the beginning of a new era known as the Kofun Period.
